Attack of the radioactive tribbles!

My goodness, time flies. No rest for the wicked, they say, and I must be a very bad girl indeed! But fear not, gentle reader, Bianca has brought the fug once more. This time, we visit a post-apocalyptic future in which poor models are forced to wear inflatable clothing and are attacked by radioactive tribbles.

It's true. Our poor model was so unhappy when she finally saw herself in the clothes we gave her. She could barely contain her disappointment. You'd think she would realize that modeling for Go Fug Your SL isn't for those with weak hearts or weak stomachs.

The pink inflatable jacket (which, while relatively well-made, is still pink and poofy) so distressed her that she began to cry. Please, designers, think of the people who will wear your creations! You don't want this to happen!

Her legs... what can I say? Has she been irradiated, so that her leg hair grows both freakishly long and freakishly pink? Are her calves exploding in a burst of fuzzy pinkness? Or are her lower legs being attacked by radioactive tribbles?

Our poor model was overcome by the fug. She fought valiantly, struggling...

... but alas, the fug won. She collapsed, dead. So Bianca took more pictures.

It's such a shame. Now we have to find a new model!

Freebie boxes - marketing, or the kiss of death?

Freebie boxes- they're everywhere. It seems every Tom, Dick, and Harry throws a few things in a box and slaps a label on it, thinking it will be good promotion. But I think sometimes people miss the point.

See, lovies, people LOVE a freebie. Give them something good, with your name on it, and your landmark in the box, and they may even go to your shop to spend money. This is what we here at gofugyourSL call a very good thing. We like the lindens, especially when they're coming in. But if they can't find your shop, they can't give you their money, now can they?

However (and this is a BIG however), the items in your box need to be a good representation of your shop. Are you doing good work? Are you proud of what you're selling? Then put in a sample. Trust Bianca, it's worth a $200 linden sale to give away a good piece. But when you give away something like this?

"Bianca! What's wrong with that?" you may ask. Aside from the missing shirt (which was nowhere to be found in the box), it looks fine from a distance. But let's look more closely, shall we?

I know, I know, lovie. I share your pain. It doesn't seem that bad, though, at first glance...

Until you look at the skirt. Yes... that's the skirt you're looking at. The waist... it just doesn't WORK for Bianca! But perhaps it's just a prim issue... maybe the rest of the outfit is better?

Oh my. I realize that those newfangled graphics programs are hard to use. But darling, were you overdosing on coffee when you drew these lines? Perhaps you're epileptic? I don't mean to be harsh, but if this is what you're offering... it doesn't look good for the rest of the shop.

No, definitely not. The gloves have the same problem. This won't DO, darlings. Match those seams! Make your lines something to be proud of. Make your freebie boxes something people will rejoice to get, and run to your shop, saying, "I simply must own everything this person makes!"

Octopus of Death

Well, Sweeties, I may not be a eloquent as my colleague but my finds are equally as vile. My findings come from dollar boxes and lucky chair treats. The skin I am wearing is by unknown, oh that crazy unknown, and the bleeding tear gives it a perfect touch to the bleeding eyes.

Forget the skin, with the bleeding lipstick aside, and let's look at the hair. OMG! Help! My head is being swallowed by a crazy octopus. It is no wonder my eyes are bleeding. They were gouged out by my hair. This hair, a dollar special from Tickled Pink, never stops moving. So if you do opt for this style be sure to warn you friends to keep back 500 feet.

The outfit comes from a lucky chair located at M n M. The texture is skulls. Can you see it? Can you tell? Sweeties, someone needs to tell these people to please use textures that are not fuzzier than moldy cheese. Before you ask, yes, this is fully rezzed. Basically, it looks like my clothes were blotted with an eraser.

Now, I know Bianca mentioned crotch bleed in her last post but this outfit also has a really back case of bleeding. I am not sure which is worse, bleeding red or black. The whole picture is one bad seam after the other. Unfortunately, Darlings, this is not the worst of my wardrobe.

Welcome, darlings!

There comes a time when one who loves fashion as much as I do must simply stand up and shout, "No more! Are you insane? What were you THINKING?" So I, Bianca Frump, and my good friend Elle Maxim have put together this blog, to share with you the things which send our blood pressures skyrocketing.

For the inaugural post, I'll discuss something a bit intimate. I know, it's not polite to discuss panties, but please. We all wear them! See? Lovely silks, yes?

Ok, a bit gothy. (I added a Wilted Rose goth skin, because I could!) It isn't horrible, until I start to move. But suddenly, I've got a horrible case of crotch bleed!

Now, perhaps it's just me, but I'd prefer not looking as if someone has skewered me in the crotch. The bleeding thing is so much worse since it's red! Please, designers. Download slcp or avpainter and USE IT. Don't inflict such heinous things as crotch bleed on us! And speaking of previewing your clothing...

Seams need to match, lovies. Color and line, but at least the line. This simply won't do.

While we're speaking of ugly? I can't decide if this hair reminds me more of a Klingon or an armadillo. Disturbing...
